Rudolf Neumann founded his jewelry production company in 1947 together with his wife Maria. From the beginning, jewelry clasps were the core product. Matching earrings, brooches, necklaces, etc. were soon also produced for European wholesalers. In 1985, Klaus Kutter and his wife Heidi, the daughter of the founding couple, took over the business and built the company from scratch, which is still active at the same location. In 1999, Hans Kutter joined the Neumann company in the third generation and has been managing the company since then. In addition to the traditional products of jewelry clasps and costume jewelry, the Neumann company now also produces third-party collections and runs contract electroplating for selected customers.
